Editions
convert4print is offered in two so-called editions, which on the one hand cover the needs of small companies with PCs, but also the needs of large organizations with midrange and mainframe systems, distributed over several locations.
In the Professional-Edition the full functionality of convert4print is available. In addition to all types of converters for printers, gateways can also be configured and used. PCL printers, matrix printers and label printers are supported. Each converter is licensed independently of the printer connected.
In the Entry-Edition only three converter types for printers are available, which are required in small and smallest installations. These converters can be offered at very attractive prices due to the elimination of unnecessary functions. The Entry Edition only supports PCL laser printers. Licensing is done via the connected printer.
